Trip 25

Friday has arrived . . . the first friday after the tiring month of Ramadan . . . its the 25th of september, nothing special about the date . . . but there is a something in the atmosphere in the Daboos HQ that gives the team a sense of how todays trip will be very successful, the camera crew today were testing their new helmet camera, so the spirit of the team was at the max level.
The Al-Warqaa patch, although it has been changed a lot, was ripped through by the team, they refueled their bikes and themselves and continued on, they crossed with another team, all who are 2 wheelers. That made the team go even more crazy and as the team was flying through the camel humps making their way towards Fossil Rock, they realized that Eisa Al-Daboos and Shafooq were missing, a phone call was enough to know that they missed the turn and a meeting point was set . . . the race began, it was the Nazwa petrol station and Shafooq managed to win. another set of bad news arrived on the form of Bin Dhaboi's Polaris Razr's engine belt being damaged, and once again the team set off leaving only a cloud of dust behind, until they found Bin Dhaboi's broken down UTV. A small rest is needed after 4 hours of non stop riding. so the guys took a 1 hour rest (until Bin Dhaboi's UTV was towed away). The adventure was resumed, and today the team decided to take a new route towards Al-Aweer through the camel humps and bumpy terrain . . . it was simply a war between the riders and nature (weither it was the dark, trees, sand, or the terrain) and after an exhausting 1 hour in full throttle action, the team rested once again in Al-Aweer petrol station, ate some simple sandwiches and had a few drinks and returned back home leaving that unmistakable cloud of dust behind them in the dessert, and a promise to come back once again next friday . . . well see you then folks
