7/5/2010 ,, yet another usual friday for the Daboos Team, but with the collection adrenaline pumped riders, there is a buggy joining the action. All goes well when the team rips up the sand, from Al-Aweer to Fossil Rock. and the fun continues as the team arrived Al-Badayer after a 15 minute, 5th gear workout. The buggy arrived seconds later, and was taking a turn towards a descent, with all 4 passengers broadly smiling as they had fun and safely made it to the orange sands of Al-Badayer .. *SMACK* ..
everyones head turned to see the source of the noise, an orange RZR going uphill full throttle to jump successfully hit the buggy face to face, everyone in the buggy was shook.
The A-Arm of the buggy was severely bent, and the rim was totaled along with the tyre.
The RZR on the other hand, had its entire frame lodged in at one side by a couple of inches
No compensations were given, and no legal action was taken ... Today's lesson "when jumping, keep at least 2 people as a lookout to minimize the chance of any kind of collision, and don't expect any compensation as insurance and police have no control and action over the sand"
